I put border 4 on my Marcelle Medallion quilt this morning! I used a different method for making the flying geese so I was able to get four geese out of (1) 4.5” square & (4) 2.5” squares. When I added previous borders, the length of my sides got a little wonky & so I had to add small strips to three of my four flying geese borders to get them to fit. This quilt is so far from perfect but I love it & I’m not going to quit.
This is the back view of my zippered pouch that I made for the Portland/Vancouver Modern Quilt Guild swap. I love the ‘flying geese’ block.
What’s that you see? Flying geese?! Gee, I must be working on the February block for cool cottons’ $10 Quilt Club!
