A couple weeks ago, my grandfather told me that his physical therapist had recommended a circular pillow for him to use while he watches TV. My grandpa, always resourceful, then showed me a sheet of foam he had found and rolled up to use as the pillow and asked if I could wrap it with some fabric so that it would stay together. I thought, “Gee, I can do you one better…”
So today I did! I picked up a neck roll pillow form from Jo-Ann’s and used a pattern that my mom found in a 1984 (that’s before I was born!) Singer Stitching for the Home book. My grandpa’s favorite color is red so I used a large piece of fabric from Anna Maria Horner’s ‘Innocent Crush’ line. Not only is my grandpa getting an actual pillow, it’s going to be lovely as well!!
